Cheers to 6 Years!

Paoerful Medicine is officially 6 years old!

Although I’m 2-3 months late in making this post, I still wanted to celebrate it with you all. I’m hoping to start posting again soon! I’ve been getting my life back on track and back into balance with everything that I’m juggling, which is why I haven’t been posting lately.

I created this website, after following through with an idea that I had, in May 2020. The COVID-19 pandemic was still alive and kicking at the time, so the majority of us stayed home nearly all day every day. My classes were still on Zoom until summer break, but the transition from in-person to online classes wasn’t the smoothest transition. Back then, many of us struggled with mental, emotional, and even physical health. For this reason, I felt led to create a website sharing God’s word, making a positive impact on others, sharing my experiences going through medical school, and explaining certain medical issues. I spent hours researching and drafting my first couple posts before actually posting them. When I felt like I typed some decent content, I decided to publish my posts and purchased my domain name for easier access.

Six years later, I’m still typing and publishing posts, while sharing God’s word and worship music. Most of the emails I have received, from you all, have been encouraging. I used to publish my posts and wondered if it would help anyone, but your emails continually serve as confirmation that they are.

I’m still figuring out how I plan on proceeding with the Medicine section of this website. I’m considering making posts about certain diseases so they can remain fresh in my mind. Also, I did get a question on whether or not I still have shingles (I don’t by the way), so I’ll be making a post about that soon.

Anyway, cheers to 6 years!

I’m hoping for many more, as long as God continues to lead me to continue running this website.
